Two doctoral students named Bouchet Fellows
The WUSTL Bouchet Honor Society Selection Committee has chosen its fifth class of Bouchet Fellows. The 2011 fellows are Pascale Guiton, a doctoral student in the Molecular Microbiology and Microbial Pathogenesis Program in the Division of Biology and Biomedical Sciences, and Natecia Williams, a doctoral student in the Neuroscience Program in the Division of Biology and Biomedical Sciences. Members of the Japanese Happy Hour, a scientific study group of Japanese researchers, organized the sale, which is designating 100 percent of proceeds to relief organizations, including the Japanese Red Cross. - Men’s tennis finishing strong. The No. 5 men’s tennis team picked up three wins at home last week to improve its overall record to 11-4. The Bears picked up wins over Lindenwood University, McKendree University and Principia College. The team hosts Division II University of Missouri-St. Louis at 4 p.m. today at the Tao Tennis Center, and then travel to Waltham, Mass., for the University Athletic Association championships beginning Friday, April 15.
